did you know that public speaking is the most common phobia, ahead of death and spiders

Fortunately, I’m not afflicted with this phobia and throughout my professional climbing career I’ve connected with audiences both big and small. Never one to take myself too seriously, humour is a common theme in all of my speaking engagements.

I weave wonderful tales of mountain adventures from the unique perspective of a woman, while also drawing a subtle connection to the bigger picture of social change and social justice. My shows are not one dimensional, and I strive to always leave my audience with a call to action. The joy of being a natural speaker with a background in facilitation and curriculum development, means that I can be nimble to your events needs and create an engaging and fun show, no matter the audience or topic.

I speak to both corporate audiences, as well as to my fellow climbers and in both professional and casual environments. Below you’ll find the posters of some of my past speaking engagements, you know, just in case you’re interested.

speaking EVENTS

I’ve spoken to a wide variety of audiences, and for a wide variety of purposes. Below is just a selection of some of my speaking engagements. What gets me most fired up? Talking to audiences about climbing and it’s connection to the bigger picture of social change.
